Most security reports tell you what tools you have. Argos tells you whether they are actually working. It is the continuous security monitoring and reporting service we built at Strife Technologies to answer one question every month, in plain language: is this organization actually protected, or does it just look protected?
The Problem Nobody Watches
There is a quiet failure mode in small and mid-sized business IT. You buy the backup service, the endpoint protection, the email security, the cloud hardening. Invoices get paid. Dashboards turn green. Then a year later, when something actually goes wrong, you find out the backups stopped succeeding in March, a domain was spoofable the entire time, or a cloud tenant carried a misconfiguration nobody was watching. The gap is rarely the tools. It is that nobody is continuously checking the tools still do their job, and proving it in language you can act on.
What Argos Is
Argos independently scans your external attack surface, cloud configuration, endpoints, email authentication, and backups every month, then produces a clear, branded report stating exactly what is exposed, what is drifting, and what is genuinely protected. It is a monitoring and assurance product, not another agent to install or another console to log into. Argos watches the things that protect you and reports honestly on their state. You get the findings; we handle the machinery.
The Five Things Argos Watches
- External attack surface. The subdomains, exposed services, TLS configuration, and known vulnerabilities the internet can actually see and reach. The same reconnaissance an attacker would run, performed on your behalf every month.
- Cloud configuration. Your Microsoft 365 and Entra ID tenant audited against security baselines: identity and conditional access, mailbox and sharing posture, audit logging, and the lifecycle of the credentials that protect it.
- Endpoint posture. Patch and reboot hygiene, end-of-life operating systems, disk and battery health, and domain trust state across managed devices, so one neglected machine does not become the way in.
- Email authentication. SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and TLS reporting for your domains, plus aggregate-report analysis of who is actually sending mail as you. The difference between having DMARC and genuinely not being spoofable.
- Backup assurance. The one most services skip. Argos does not just confirm a backup job ran. It independently pulls real files out of recent backups and proves they open and restore.

Why "Proves" Is the Important Word
Plenty of monitoring tells you a job completed. Argos was built around a harder question: would this actually work if you needed it? A backup job can report success every night and still be unrestorable. A DMARC record can exist and still leave you spoofable. A cloud tenant can look fine and quietly carry a misconfiguration for months. Argos is designed to catch exactly these "looks fine, is not" situations, and every finding comes with specific, plain-English remediation guidance. Not "review per severity." Actual next steps.
What You Get
- A monthly, professionally branded security report covering all five pillars.
- Clear severity ratings and specific remediation guidance for every finding, with no jargon-only output.
- Independent verification that your backups would actually restore.
- Month-over-month visibility, so drift gets caught early instead of after an incident.
- For multi-site or multi-entity organizations, a fleet-level executive summary suitable for leadership and cyber-insurance documentation.
Who It Is For
If you are an existing Strife Technologies client, Argos is the natural next layer on top of the protections you already have. It is the part that watches the watchers and gives you something defensible to show an auditor or an insurer. If you are evaluating Strife Technologies, Argos is a straightforward way to see exactly where you stand right now. The first report frequently surfaces something the existing setup was quietly missing.
Get Your First Argos Report
We are rolling Argos out across our managed-services clients and making it available to new ones. If you want to see what your organization’s first Argos report looks like, or you want the backup-restore verification alone because it keeps you up at night, get in touch and we will scope it to your environment and walk through the first report together.
