Monthly Posture Evidence

Argos Security
Assurance

Every month, Argos independently checks your external attack surface, cloud configuration, endpoints, email authentication and backups, and reports in plain language what is protected, what is drifting, and what is exposed. It restores real files to prove the backups work.

The Problem Nobody Watches

You buy the backup service, the endpoint protection, the email security, the cloud hardening. Invoices get paid. Dashboards turn green. Then a year later you find out the backups stopped succeeding in March, the domain was spoofable the entire time, or the tenant carried a misconfiguration nobody was checking. The gap is rarely the tools. It is that nobody is continuously verifying the tools still do their job, and proving it in language you can act on.

The Five Things Argos Watches

Independent checks, run from outside your environment, on the controls that are supposed to protect it.

External Attack Surface

The subdomains, exposed services, TLS configuration and known vulnerabilities the internet can actually see and reach. The same reconnaissance an attacker would run, performed on your behalf every month.

Cloud Configuration

Your Microsoft 365 and Entra ID tenant checked against baselines aligned to the CIS Microsoft 365 benchmark: identity and Conditional Access, mailbox and sharing posture, audit logging, and the lifecycle of the credentials that protect it.

Endpoint Posture

Patch and reboot hygiene, end-of-life operating systems, disk and battery health, and domain trust state across managed devices, so one neglected machine does not become the way in.

Email Authentication

SPF, DKIM, DMARC and TLS reporting for your domains, plus analysis of the aggregate reports that show who is actually sending mail as you. The difference between having DMARC and genuinely not being spoofable.

Backup Assurance

The one most services skip. Argos does not just confirm a backup job ran. It pulls real files out of recent backups and proves they open and restore.

Why "Proves" Matters

A backup job can report success every night and still be unrestorable. A DMARC record can exist and still leave you spoofable. A tenant can look fine and carry a misconfiguration for months. Argos is built to catch the "looks fine, is not" cases, and every finding comes with specific next steps, not "review per severity".

How It Works

Nothing to install, no console to log into. Argos runs from our side and you receive the findings.

1

Enrol

We record your domains, public addresses, tenant and backup scope. Read-only access where a check needs it. Under an hour of your time.

2

Collect

External reconnaissance and email checks run monthly, endpoint checks daily, tenant checks against the CIS-aligned baseline, and a real restore from a recent backup.

3

Report

On the first of the month you receive a branded PDF: severity-rated findings, plain-English remediation for each, and month-over-month change so drift is caught early.

What You Receive

  • A monthly, professionally branded security report covering all five pillars
  • Clear severity ratings and specific remediation guidance for every finding
  • Independent verification that your backups actually restore
  • Month-over-month visibility, so drift is caught early instead of after an incident
  • For multi-entity organisations, a fleet-level executive summary suitable for leadership and cyber-insurance documentation
  • Something defensible to show an auditor, an insurer, or a client who asks how their data is protected

Who It Is For

Professional-services firms that hold client data and need to show it is looked after: architecture, legal, property, marine and financial practices. If Strife Technologies already operates your environment, Argos is the layer that watches the watchers. If you are evaluating us, a first report is the fastest way to see exactly where you stand. It frequently surfaces something the existing setup was quietly missing.
